Best Mini PC for Gaming
Picks refresh twice a day.
A Mini PC can be a great gaming device, depending on what you’re looking to play. They almost all use integrated graphics, so the iGPU matters more than the CPU score - and you’ll mostly want a Ryzen machine, which have much better iGPUs than Intel. A Radeon 780M class machine is the best value at the moment - a true 60 FPS tier at 1080p low/medium in games like Elden Ring, Forza Horizon 5, and Baldur’s Gate 3. A 680M is a step down: still a comfortable 1080p-low box for Fortnite, GTA V, and esports. Weaker graphics belong on esports and older titles, not new AAA games. There’s also 890M machines - which are about 30% better than the 780M… but they come at close to double the price.
Since the iGPU and CPU share their RAM - you’ll probably want at least 16GB of RAM - unless you’re looking to only play retro, or casual games, 8GB will be a limiting factor. 32GB is overkill, and not worth stretching for, unless you’re in the 890M tier.
